  • DUI Background Checks.

    I am just wondering if any investment banks would disqualify someone with a DUI on their record in a background check.

    Just as a FYI but not as an investment banker, a DUI in the state of Virginia would disquailfy a person for employment under the VA Administative Code you can't be employed with an EMS agency as a medical provider for five years.

    Generally, it would only disqualify a candidate if it's work related.  For driving positions, then yes, use it.  For other positions, it's not likely to be business related.
