Fortune magazine just released its latest list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For.  When your employees hear about free gourmet lunches, onsite gyms, etc., do you ever get any negative feedback about your company?  Positive suggestions?  Or no reaction?

I think that those types of perks may sound great at first...but, when it comes down to it, I think that employees may be happier working for a company that gives them more of a work-life balance.  Is a gourmet lunch or on-site gym a great perk, or just a way to make employees a bit happier despite spending 12-hour days at the office?
