  • HR Manager position in the Middle East

I accepted an HR manager position for a company in the middle east. They wanted to hire a US expat for this position because the company hires US Expat to run all the management aspects of the company. The company supplies services to the US goverment, I have worked in the region for several years. I dont not need to cover anything regarding housing or transportation.

    Questions:

     1. Are there any liabilities that I need to consider?

     2. Can a US expat (or local employee for that matter) of the company sue me?

     3. By way of benefits what should I request (other than the norm)?

    4. Is there anything else that I should be asking?
