    Does your company have a written policy about employees who admit to drug use? Ours states: "the driver admits to use but requests assistance, the alcohol and drug program administrator will supply the employee with information regarding an appropriate substance abuse professional (SAP). The employee will be put on leave without pay for a minimum of 6 weeks. If the employee successfully completes appropriate treatment including successful in passing a drug test the employee may be rehired at the

    I agree with IT HR. Talk to your employees. you need to know what is going on and why your employees are posting their resumes. Some may just be doing it to find out they are still wanted by other companies and have no real desire to leave. maybe they need to feel needed by your company. Others may truly be looking to leave and you need to know why in case there is something that can be done about it. BTW What percentage have you found online?

    One of my employees has been sick for several days. He went to the MD. The MD told him to call us and have us hold a meeting with all employees to tell them that the employee had (I think) type A influenza but no firm diagnosis of N1H1. We held the meeting and did not even think about the possibility of a HIPAA or ADA violation.

    You should have it somewhere in your company policy. However, it is a common knowledge or reasonable man issue. Everyone should know that if you use internet and/or email at work you have no any privacy rights. The employer has the right to monitor your activities on their computer. And the right/duty to terminate employees if you are mis-using their equipment.
