I like to use pictures in my training. Does anyone know of a good website where I can find some pictures of unsafe acts or pictures of people who have been injuried because of unsafe acts/accidents. I use as many pictures from our comapny as possible - even some that are staged, but I would like a bigger variety if possible. If anyone can help me with this I would be very appreciative.

I like using the “what’s wrong with this picture” example.  Take a digital picture of your workplace and see how many safety violations the employees can see.  It’s very effective!  This all started when someone E-mailed a picture to me showing all of the safety improvements done to one site.  I couldn’t help noticing all the things wrong with it.  There were 8 improvements done to a door and I found 9 violations on the door and the surrounding area.

I usually send the weekly photo of the week out from the Navy Safety website also, but this safetyphoto site is great for training in hazard recognition.
