It really depends on what you are looking for. Most typical interview questions can be applied to a Safety Manager. Take a look at John Martin Yate's book Knock 'em Dead. He has about 100 questions and the expected answers. Typical questions: Tell me about yourself. Examples of sucesses and failures. How do interact with others?
In a H&S context: What were the primary hazards at your last employer? What was your relationship like with Operations (Manufacturing) management? How about the workers? Sucesses/Failures? Did you ever have an OSHA inspection? How did turn out? What were the findings?
