I'd like to hear from anybody who has taken the 10 or 30 hour training.  How valuable did you find it?  Did you take it through a consultant?

Thanks for any feedback you can give me.

I have taken the OSHA 30-hour in Construction Safety & Health through the Wisconsin Council of Safety.  The course had a lot of good basic information perfect for supervisors, and managers.

I will look for the course agenda.

I took both the 10hr. and 30hr. compliance courses with the Wisconsin Safety Council and found both to be invaluable for safety professionals.  Some of the material from the 10hr is repeated in the 30hr one.  They both took my safety career to another level in knowledge of OSHA and compliance issues.

I have never gone but I have sent some field safety people to the 30 hours course offered by TEEX (Texas Engineering Extension - part of A&M's Engineering dept)  and all have returned with a better knowledge base.

Some of these classes will depend upon the instructor.  some are good and some are bad.

I have attended both the 10 and 30 hour class, as earlier stated the 30 hour is a partial repeat of the 10 hour class but I would recommend this training, its good for building a knowledge base.

I took the 10 and 30 hr training online at www.warriors4safety.com and I did find it helpful in covering areas that I had yet to be exposed to in the field.  It also influenced my decision to further my traing in the field of safety. A friend of mine took it in the field through his supervisor and he also found it to be a useful tool.

I took the 30-hour online at the OSHA Campus website.  I also took the OSHA 500 online as well through the Rocky Mountain Education Center (Red Rocks Community College).

It covered the basics and some in-depth topics.  Good thing for managers, supervisors, superintendents, foremen, etc.
