  • Indoor Air Quality Standards

I know that OSHA does not have any specific Indoor Air Quality standards but i was wondering what you folks look to for guidance? I was looking at the ASHRAE website and was thinking that was probably the best option but I am not a member and could not access their standards. If anyone could provide the information or at least point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for the help.

With any of the standards, you'll have to purchase them. Memebers tend to get discounts since they pay annual fees. I googled "indoor air quality standards" a got a number of decent hits. What you'll find are a lot of recommendations unless the contaminant is specifically regulated. OSHA had a proposed rule IAQ but withdrew it in 2001.

Try these - ASHRAE 62.1, OSHA 29 CFR 1000, SKC Incorporated Product Catalog
