I designed and printed my own certificate and wallet cards. ![Smile [:)]](/safety/emoticons/emotion-1.gif)
I took a generic certificate template in PowerPoint and modified it to fit my needs by adding a corporate logo, specific wording, the trainee's name, and graphics for the specific vehicles, etc. I created duplicate slides for each trainee and printed them out onto 90-lb gray paper using a flat sheet color printer. The paper is rigid enough to make a nice presentation.
I used Excel to create and print the wallet cards. Modify your row height to "150" and your column width to "45". I left a standard 12.75 row between "card" cells to allow for cutting them apart easily. I also left a column width = "5" between the card columns. I copied and pasted a single PowerPoint certificate slide into one of the pre-formmated cells in Excell and then reduced the size of the picture until it fit inside the cell dimensions. I repeated the process for each trainee. This allowed me to print out 8 business-card sized replicas of the actual Certificate for use as wallet cards on a single sheet of 90-lb gray paper.
All I needed to do then was sign the certificates and the wallet cards and give them out.
