  • Looking for a safety or ergonomics BUDGET!!!!

I just started working for a new company and they want me to develop a budget for all of my ergonomic needs.  Does anyone have a sample budget  that way I have an idea on how set it up.  I appreciate it.  I have ideas of what I need to purchase, but would like to see different formats.

How many items do you really need?

Here is a basic list of items:
    Mouse
    Keyboard
    Computer Privacy Screen
    Computer Monitor Stand
    Keyboard Tray
    Ergonomic Chair

Let me know if these links are useful, but I think it really depends on your needs, your health, and your job functionality

Be careful though, according to 29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(9)(2)(vii)(N) (of the Bloodborne Pathogens Standard) when training employees there has to "be an opportunity for interactive questions and answers with the person conducting the training session".

Remember Ergonomics is the solution not the problem, the right budget would be to mitigate MSD's(muscular Skelatal disorders) In laymans terms Ergonomics is the study of work and the solution.

exactly.  and the person above just listed computer office stuff.  I am not sure what your company does but don't forget the non office staff  workbenches may need to be adjustable, machines  too.  Any place where there is an interaction between a person and a machine. tool, or and other devise used to do work needs to be reviewed.
