  • Counting days without loss time

    When your counting your days without a loss time accident do you start the day after the accident or the day the employee returns to work? Thanks

    The day after the incident.  And weekends, vacation days, etc all must be counted.  Not just regularly scheduled work days.

    I agree all days must be counted xcept for the day of the injury.

    You would start the day after the accident.  Be mindful that you have more than one employee and if someone else get hurt the day after that, it starts the whole process over again.
