The place where we buy all of our
safety videos just started carrying the Remember
    Charlie safety video
. This thing costs some bucks!! I have
heard great things about it, but have never really talked to anyone
who has seen it. Have you seen it? Is it worth the money? Any
insight you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

Remember Charlie is definitely worth the money.  In my opinion, the best attention-getter I've seen.  Unsolicited feedback to corporate, which is unusual, was all positive.  It really makes you think about taking shortcuts and being careless.  It's almost an hour long, which would normally be a big negative, but it just does hold your attention.  The only negatives in the presentation are a habit of repeating himself and getting a little emotional about his parents........all things considered, very minor points.

Definitely worth the money almost as inspiring as Charlie in person.  It is a real attention getter.

Seen the DVD, heard his story at the National Safety Congress.  It is high impact, but it is also an old story and over worked.  His style is something you have to get used to.

Talk to your provider.  They may offer you a free preview.  Then you'll be able to base your decision on your own judgement.  We've used it for seven or eight years now.  Great video.  They also offer hard hat stickers that go over pretty well and keep the idea in the field.

It is worth every penny.  If you company is large enough get him to come in person.  I gaurantee nobody who ever sees him in person will ever forget it.

Thanks for all the info guys. I was able to talk the powers that be into forking over the $$ so I am going to buy it. Looking to take our program to the next level and I have heard from a lot of people this video will do it. We are really looking for something moving/motivational. Thanks again!!!

Just wanted to close out this thread since I started it...

Bought the video, and although it looks a bit dated (people in the audience from the 80's) our employees were blown away. Many of them said they will truly remember the "Remember Charlie" video for many years. Good purchase glad we did it!!
