  • Man Overboard Drill for working Barges and Derricks

The company I am working with is currently working crews during the day on box barges, crane barges, and a derrick barge in the San Fransisco Bay. I know that on Army Core jobs there is a requirement for a monthly man overboard drill. However, this is not a core job and I am having trouble finding a standard in the Coast Guard or CalOsha about these crews needing a man overboard drill. Would anyone know if it is required for this kind of work? If so please quote me the standard.

    Thanks,
