  • Janitors and their gloves...

I have trained my janitorial staff the importance of wearing gloves when taking out garbages and cleaning restrooms...now I need to train them to take them off when appropriate as to not contaminate other fixtures and handles.  Does anyone know if there are specific training material or specific laws/regulations on this type of activity?

Try some Blood Borne Pathogens training information.  With the industrial stuff you have not a lot of choise but there is some out there something might meet your needs.

Most BBP training stuff is directed at the medical industry.

You may get some help by reviewing 29 CFR 1910.1030 requirements for bloodborne pathogen Exposure Control Plan (ECP).
