  • Looking for Safety Article for Company Newsletter

    Hi,

I'm working on our company's June newsletter. I would like the feature article to be of safety.  I'm having a hard time finding an article that is appropriate.  The company I work for is a 3rd party logistics company with our biggest safety issue being forklifts

Any ideas or info would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Nicole

    Hi Nicole,

Your timing is very good. Safety.BLR.com is celebrating June as National Safety Month with our workplace safety center.   There are lots of resources there to help with training - check it out at http://safety.blr.com/collection.cfm/collection/8

As a futher part of the celebration we have a special deal where we are giving away a download of this month's employee safety newsletter - Safety Works.  That issue has a short article about electrical safety and lockout tagout - you are welcome to photocopy for your own company newsletter.  Download it free at: http://www.blr.com/landingpr/?landingprid=8

    Nicole,

Have you looked into writing about something that is safety related, however, pertains to the home life?  I also looked into safety articles for our June Newsletter, but did not want them to solely focus on work safety, but being safe at home as well.  I figured this would be the best policy to cover the general public.  Forklifts are a concern here as well, however, not all individuals drive one, or around them on a daily basis.

    Yours in safety,

    Brandon
