  • Forklift operator certification card

    Here's another forkilft training question.  I am looking for a good forklift operator certification card. Anybody have any ideas on where i could find a good one?

    I have designed my own, too.  I used Publisher and created a merge.  I keep all my safety trainings in Microsoft Access and then use the merge to get all info into the certification card.  I print the card on cardstock, sign, and laminate.

    I can send you our card - minus our company's info if you would like.

    I purchased certification cards, handbooks and videos from American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). The cards are only $1.95 with the book. It costs $15 to become an apporved instructor for ASHI but you can get the same cards for HazCom and Bloodborne Pathogen training.

    It takes a little bit of time to get your printer to align the names. But they'll send you a template.

    $15 is a pretty good deal to become and instructor.  It cost me 500 bucks and I had to know what I was dong when I finished the course.  The certification cards don't seem to be important to our people.  A promently posted list of qualified operators seems to do the trick.  The card just takes up room in the wallet and can't be transfered to another company, sowe use public recognition along with a card off the printer.

    do you have to have full use of both hands/arms to be a forklift operator in high steel erected comercial buildings. would you be able to get forklift certified
