i have been takeing osha courses taught at osha training institute.by december i hope to hold at least 25 certifications. many of you ask about state regulations. look for the regulation under federal law first. if the regulation states a forklift operator must be retrained yearly your state cant make the regulation to a forklift driver must be trained every 5 years. this is a example its with all regulations.

back when most of you were in diapers osha was feared by companies.but politics has basically killed them. osha inspector all over the were stepping on others corn flakes. those people picked up their phones and called their senators and congressman and said ' BOY YOU WANT MY SUPPORT AND CONTRIBUTION NEXT YEAR YOU BETTER CALL OFF THESE FOOLS" well the federal government could not disband osha so they punished them by cutting their funding. the only way osha will come out the office is if a company haS MULTIABLE INJURIES OR DEATH. yes they may visit a place here and there but its foir show. they get tired of playing cards in the office i suppose. no , they have to show activity. cant explain to bush taxpayers spent 1 billion on osha and not one inspection.

so here is whats occuring. osha does very little inspections. thus insurance companies say , whoa hold on. if they are not inspecting we want in on the action. so, the senators and congressman said ok. so basically in most states the law says, IF YOU GET HURT OR KILLED ON THE JOB DUE TO YOU BEING UNSAFE OR BREAKING OSHA REGULATIONS NOT ONLY DO YOU GET STUCK WITH MEDICAL BILLS YOU GET NO COMPENSATION. JUST LIKE URINE TEST. mr jones is 99 years old. he gets hurt on the job. he gets drug test. the insurance company is looking for escapeing the paying of the medical bill. if they cant do it  by drug test then they see if you were unsafe or broke a osha reg. so who is training the workers? no one.

tell you what. go to your local osha office.grab a inspector and take them to wal mart for unannouced inspection.want to bet they wont do it. no funding. we can only do 6 inspections a year. wal mart makes 7
