I have a manager who thinks it is accceptable to push 4 stacks of pallets in front of his forklift. He says that it isn't unsafe b/c the employees were on break. Is this just a safety rule of thumb or is it in a standard somewhere? I'm having a hard time finding it in the standard. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm in need of propane gloves, but our Maintenance department is telling me that they can't find "propane gloves." I see some in Grainger, but where is the best place to purchase gloves that are made to protect your hands from propane? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I'm working on our company's June newsletter. I would like the feature article to be of safety. I'm having a hard time finding an article that is appropriate. The company I work for is a 3rd party logistics company with our biggest safety issue being forklifts . Any ideas or info would be appreciated.

I have researched on OSHA, but can't seem to find an answer. We have sun coming in thru the dock doors and glass walls, and we have a forklift driver wanting to wear sunglasses. My gut says no, but can't find anything to back it up. Thanks!

Our safety committee functions very well now. We have implemented a Safety Committee Member policy and job description that all members must adhere too. Instead of electing members we asked for a nomination form or request to join form so that everyone on the committee wants to be there. I conduct the meeting in an open forum session rather than a meeting. I review all information from the prior meeting and follow up issues and open the floor to all current issues or things that they would like to
